I woke up on a Sunday morning and realized it was cold in my house. I turned my heat up and, nothing happened. I quickly surmised that the boiler wasn’t working. PGW came out because I smelled gas, and correctly diagnosed that I needed a part replaced. (The gas smell was from the pilot trying — and failing — to light. He fixed the issue fast and the cost amount wasn't bad.
The installation was amazing. The clean up was really good. The review of what to do and why was honest. The only slight improvement is that the labor really did not give an update periodically that installation was going well and nothing more would need to be done once installation was complete. However, at the very end of six hours or so the labor did explain the system which was helpful.

Our 38-year-old boiler broke down at the start of a cold snap. We contacted AL Group HVAC and they were able to come same day to assess the problem. They were extremely transparent about our options and pricing, and we ultimately decided to replace the boiler with a new unit. They came in first thing the following morning to do the installation and got us our heat back within a matter of hours. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with air or heating problems. Alex was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the condition of my house in a way I can understand. 10/10, will be asking Alex to come out again for maintenance in the summer or if problems arise.
Excellent experience. Al came out to do routine heating maintenance. He was able to make a next day appointment. He was very thorough and noted some inefficiencies in our heating system and ducts and offered reasonable solutions. Would recommend him to anyone.

I felt at ease with the level of expertise he displayed immediately diagnosing the problem and proceeding to fix it. The job took a little longer than planned, but I was overcharged, and was very satisfied with the result.
