William and helper Jake took time to review what I wanted and did a caring and professional job. They even drilled the wooden blocking to avoid splitting the wood as I asked them to. Now, we are safe.The family member can cook, but only when a person with the padlock is present! HBB

Great. I discovered HWH was leaking more than normal at spout (HWH was at least 15 y.o.) in the early evening. The HWH was drained (with the help of another person) and I called Goodman Plumbing. Contractor was able to come out the next day (around 10am and was done by 11:30am approx.) I was so grateful that he was able to come and do the replacement so quickly. The contractor was personable.
I ended up not hiring Goodman because they could not do the work that day, and a competitor could -- that's why I don't feel comfortable leaving an 'A', since I haven't seen Goodman's work. Nevertheless, I had a positive experience. The estimator, Mike, was professional, friendly, and prompt. He was willing to work with me on a for-now fix while helping me understand the scope and price of getting the drainage system up to code. Smoothly. When we called to inform Goodman that we needed plumbing services, Mike came out promptly, scoped our system with a camera to locate the problem, took time to explain, at length, what work needed to be done, and gave us a price that we regarded as fair. He was great at responding to our questions. The workers arrived on time and ready to work. They worked steadily and were very friendly in responding to our questions. Overall not a bad experience. They were very responsive - it was after noon on a Monday when I made the initial call to Goodman and by 4pm they had arrived and replaced the sump pump. Only thing that gives me pause was the following: He initially quoted $585 after arriving and assessing the situation - he had to "call his boss" to confirm the estimate first though. Upon arrival to the customers home and examination of the new sump pump installation. Our technician noticed the old Pump had failed due to age and sucking mud from the bottom of the pit. There was mud all the way up to the pumps float. He then told the homeowner that he should remove as much mud that he could and install a bed of crushed stone.
