Very personable plumber who was very thorough and honest with explanation, diagnostic, and remediation recommendations.
The service and price at Goodman Plumbing is unbeatable. We needed a shower pan replacement about a month ago and after shopping around from 4 other different companies, Goodman offered the best price + warranty. They worked around my tenants scheduled and did an exceptional clean up (which was a huge plus)! Today, we had a small emergency and the plumber, Roman, came by in literally an hour's notice and fixed the problem right away. Great experience. Goodman replaced my kitchen faucet and the next week returned to replace my old and rusting hot water heater. In both visits, the service and attention to detail was excellent, all work was explained to me and the price was more than fair. The tech even installed a carbon monoxide detector in the basement because "we're concerted with our customers' safety." I highly recommend Goodman and will definitely use them again.

On Thursday afternoon, 7/19, we discovered water in our basement leaking from the hot water heater. We called Goodman Plumbing and very shortly were told that someone would come. Roman Boretsky called, got the information about the kind and size of heater it was, and arrived at about 7 pm with the replacement heater. Including a pipe replacement, he had it installed by 9:15 pm, and we had hot water by 10:00 pm. Roman was courteous and efficient throughout his work.
I had a leak in my bathroom ceiling. Was not sure what it would be due to, so I called Goodman Plumbing to see if it was a plumbing issue. The gentleman came out, took a look and told me that it was not plumbing related. He even went out in the yard and took a look at my roof. Told me it was a vent flashing that had dry-rotted and split. To call a roofer right away and tell them it was the 3 inch flashing. Great. Ed and Ed were punctual and professional. They were quick and even offered suggestions to help prevent future problems. They even knocked off $20 when I told them I used Angies list.
Beautifully. I recommend Goodman to everyone. I LOVE MY PLUMBER. Who says that? I've been relying on Nick Hollister in particular for the past year -- we have a rental property in Fairmount and our primary residence in Wash West and have needed plumbing services at least four times in the past year. Today's was a simple, non-emergency, toilet fix -- potentially a planning pain in the patooty to get someone in but not with Goodman.
