This was absolutely a worry free project. The original quote was for $6800. What started out as a single pipe replacement under the sink turned out to be a major overhaul of the plumbing system. The original contractor back in the late 60's installed the sink and toilet on the same drain line. Because the other piping was found to be not in today's code, the main stack in the garage had to be replaced. That was the reason for the additional $2800. The technician named Stan was efficient, thorough and answered all our many questions. Our AC wasn’t working, they came to our house in Philadelphia on 7/1 . The unit had too much Freon in it. It was new house bought in the winter so AC couldn’t be checked then . Stan called his office to tell them what needed to be done and his boss said he could stay and do the entire job instead of having to make another trip to our house. Goodman Plumbing is so easy to work with! The friendly and efficient office staff answered my call right away, immediately made an appointment for only two days later, and were super flexible and understanding when I had to call back to switch the appointment date and time. They promised that their plumber would call 30 minutes before he was scheduled to arrive, and he did! And then he actually arrived 30 minutes later! The work was scheduled quickly and performed efficiently and professionally. I have every confidence that my gas lines are now permanently and securely fixed. They had been installed using iron pipe, which rusts, a poor choice for a manufactured house over a shallow crawl space, and Goodman replaced everything with galvanized pipe. Roman and Shane did a great job replacing the 17+ feet of large heater pipe which was corroded badly. They also replaced some of the smaller vertical sections and junctions, which really made the repair so much more complete and presentable. Work was completed as agreed. Replace a 5 ft piece of waste pipe. The house was build in 1920 and the cast iron pipe had deteriorated. Most of the pipe was behind an old concrete wall required drilling and removing a toilet; nasty job. Job was completed in 2 days, I'm happy.

At 3:30 in the morning on a Sunday a pipe attached to the expansion tank of our hot water heater broke due to a poor install job by a different company. The cold water fill pipe was blasting water into our basement. We placed an emergency call to Goodman and Roman arrived a short while later. He was very professional and fully repaired the tank and pipe in less than two hours. We’ve used Goodman before and will use them again. They continuously do good work.
