The checkup was fine. He came out and reviewed the 2 units and told me they were generally in good shape. I had never had them inspected before. He made some recommendations - evac and recharge both units and install of "T" traps for condensate line for cleanout. The price seemed very high at $1200 for such basic work but I had him do it anyway. After a few hours, I went out and he said he was done. Green Heating Cooling techs came, found issue, replaced capacitor ($50-70 job) to tell me that it's not enough and I need to replace Condenser fan motor for $800 after they called "manager". They can't do any tune-up until A/C fully functional. I refused the deal. I got capacitor for $15 and replaced it myself. Condenser fan motor works just fine as does the whole A/C. He threatened to turn me over to collections over a $30 diagnostic fee that I did not agree to. Rip off artists! I purchased Central A/C Inspection, Cleaning ... read more

For the initial appointment, the technician called 45 mins after the scheduled time and indicated he would be another hour before he could arrive. I asked that the office call me to reschedule, I waited two days and had to contact the office because I hadn't received a call. When the technicians arrived the next week, they were on time and very helpful and professional. I am very satisfied with their work despite the miscommunication with the initial appointment. <p>Heater tune-up</p>
