I wanted them to seal around the skylight but they wouldn't. There were a few missing shingles that they would not replace also. I basically paid $99 for them to tap in a few nails. And the guy that did the work was rude. I did get the roof replaced about 6 months later by a great roofer who did an excellent job, was very nice and left the roof and yard immaculate. And for $2000 less than the C and C quote.

The coupon stated that we would seal up to 4 penetrations on the roof along with a thorough evaluation of the condition of the roof and peripherals. When I called C&C I asked them whether they did roof repairs and smaller roofing jobs. They said they did, so I requested an estimate for replacing the roof on a shed (I believe it's 10' by 12'). To remove the old shingles and install new shingles, their estimate was $2,000. Any plywood needed would be extra. With a " coupon", the price came to $1,500. DENNIS CAME OUT ON 19 JULY AND GAVE ME A VERBAL ESTIMATE OFABOUT$2000. A FEW DAYS LATER I RECEIVED A WRITTEN ESTIMATE OF $3150. I CALLED DENNIS FOR VERIFICATION SINCE THE TWO AMOUNTS WERE NOT CLOSE. HE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. I THAN CONTACTED ANOTHER ANGIE'S LISTROOFER (PHILLIPS LLC). THEY DID THE JOB FOR $700 LESS THAN C&C. <br />

C&C has done work for this customer in the past with no issues. When Dennis was there inspecting the roof, the customer insisted on a price (which we never do) he was told between $2,000. to $3,000. and that he would receive and estimate in the mail. Dennis was there Friday 19th & estimate was sent on Monday 22nd for $3150.00. They spoke & was told that it's a difficult job. Our goal is to offer the BEST QUALITY at a fair price and GREAT SERVICE.
C&C inspected the roof and caulked two vent pipes. Did not repair a small leak in the roof. Gave a quote for a roof replacement which included Angie's List discounts, but was overpriced. <br />
Unfortunately, C & C only schedules appointments for estimates between 10 am and 4 pm, Monday thru Friday. My husband and I both work full time and are not able to take off a half day to meet with an estimator. A company with more flexible hours will get my business. <br />
I went to C&C first for my siding repair because they are an A rated company in Angie's List and because I've used them in the past. After looking over the job, Jeff presented two hand-written estimates to my friend, who was arranging for the contractors to inspect the job. One estimate was for $460 to caulk the rake board at the gables, but they wouldn't guarantee the work. We were given a time frame of 10 to 1 pm for the C & C estimator to arrive. He arrived just before 1 pm. Since we do not live in this house, we arrived before 10 am and waited. The other contractors we were getting estimates from gave a time and arrived on time. Jeff got up on the house metal roof and told us it needed to be replaced. Jeff suggested asphalt shingles. My husband told him there wasn't enough pitch. Jeff was sarcastic and snarly and argued with him. We never got an estimate from him for the house or the garage.... read more
