It went OK for the most part. Upon checking the unit it was discovered that I needed a new thermostat which I was told was $199 to fix and that it had to be fixed before preceding with any other work. Once I told the guy I was a Angie's list member and on there a New thermostat thru is company was 129.95 he then lowered the price to that. Next it came to the condensation pump which I was told needed to be fixed if not the basement would flood. It was ok. They charged too much for freon. I purchased a deal for $59 for a central A/C inspection, cleaning & tune-up. I paid additional for freon.
All of the basics seemed to have turned out fine. They were late. But they called and said that they were going to be late. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. The service was good. I had some concerns about the sort of back and forth that we did. The appointment that they kept was actually the second one because there was some screw up at the office with the first one. That part was an issue. It was a big deal forcentral A/C Inspection, Cleaning & Tune-up.
They were okay. I only paid the $59 Big Deal. There was only one worker. He really did not give me details. He said that he would have to send his salesman back. I thought when I bought the service that he would be able to tell me that. The price was good. They were on-time. I purchased a Big Deal for Green Heating Cooling & Electric. It was for $59 for a central air conditioning inspection. He told me that my air conditioner was shut.
